Shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor, two medical professionals enlist in the service to help the injured soldiers. They meet while working in a hospital and marry right away. When the two are sent to separate front lines, their only method of communication is writing love letters to each other. In a war that seems like it will never end, they are concerned how long will it be before they see each other.
