The Bible is more than just another book; it is God’s Holy Word. It is the expression of his mind and heart. Too often we neglect the Bible in favour of other pursuits. This book is intended, with God’s help, to bring the reader back to the Book of books itself. The Old Testament is made up of 39 books. Each of these introduced, and questions for discussion follow. The aim of this book is to help the reader (whether he or she has read the Bible or not) to understand its message more clearly and, above all, to walk more closely with God himself.
About the Author:
Gavin Childress, a former Social Worker, has been Pastor at Grace Baptist Chapel Tottenham, North London, since 1987. Gavin has always enjoyed ntroducing people of all ages to the wonders of the Bible. He is the father of six children and two grandchildren, and praises God for the countless mercies which he has received over the years.
