Postcards of Hope is a lovely book of water colour paintings accompanied by lovely musings borne out of every day living. Ellie writes in a very engaging way, almost as if she were sitting in the room with you and having a chat over a cuppa. I especially like that she offers reflection questions. As you contemplate the water colour paintings and reflect on what she writes, together they provide a wonderful opportunity to stop and listen to God, to posture oneself with open hands to receive what God wants to give - a fresh perspective, opportunity to process what life brings our way - and to offer our own prayers to Him. I can already see me giving these as gifts for Christmas.
