The rapid changes in cultural attitudes to gender identity have left Christians uncertain of how they might respond, and even what language to use in the complexity of the debate. This wise and careful exploration looks at terminology, and proposes that distinguishing between ‘postures’ and ‘gestures’ can allow us to respond appropriately and pastorally without the need to adopt many of the assumptions about gender and human identity.
