An understanding of legal responsibilities affects most areas of work with young people. But there is no need to become intimidated or put off by this! This useful study explores the areas of practice which are affected, and looks at the issues of the relation of law, policy and training in good practice. It includes some common scenarios which might offer challenges, and suggests ways to handle them.
