A musical telling the Christmas story through the eyes of the shepherds, comprising ten songs and lasting approximately 45 minutes. Soloists required: Levi (tenor), Naomi (soprano), Hannah (alto), Shem (boy treble), Deborah (teenage soprano), Mary (soprano), Joseph (bass), plus Narrator and SATB choir. The musical is ideal for mixed groups of adults and children, and can be performed as a fully staged production with drama, a concert version with narration, or as individual items in a worship service or school concert. The choral parts are written in SATB harmony, but can easily be adapted to two-part or unison if required.
