A musical re-telling the Christmas story from the perspective of Simeon, comprising ten songs and lasting approximately 45 minutes with narrations. Soloists required: Mary (soprano), Joseph (tenor), Simeon (baritone), Anna (alto), a solo child, plus Narrator and SATB choir (and optional children´s choir). The choir parts are written in four part harmony but can be simplified and adapted to suit a school situation. The choir sing in all ten of the songs. The musical can be performed as a concert version with narration or a fully staged version with drama.
