All dioceses in the Church of England now welcome children to Holy Communion before confirmation, but the ‘take-up’ by parishes varies.
Ready to Share One Bread is a comprehensive ‘one-stop shop’ for all those who would like to explore this issue with their church or are advising such a church.
Parishes that do decide to admit children are required to make sure that children are prepared properly to do so. Ready to Share One Bread also includes an easy-to-run, two-session preparation programme for the whole family.
