The main aim of collective worship is to search for the meaning and purpose of life. This book provides material for secondary school assemblies that addresses the spiritual perspective within a Christian context, linked to the central teachings in the Bible. The assemblies are designed to raise those important questions that all of us, at some point, try to find answers to. Each assembly has been tried and tested in a secondary school, and contains a talk, prayer and suggested hymn. Each assembly can be used in its present format or be incorporated into a longer assembly. Alternatively, they are useful resources for discussion in PSHE, religious studies or citizenship lessons.
