Books on New Testament ethics are by and large dismissive of the Letter to the Hebrews. But in fact it is a deeply moral book, revealing a vision of an ethical community, and offering intense motivation for moral conduct. This study looks at the commentators, at the vision of Hebrews, and at key issues such as the imitation of Christ and the question of conscience.
