The aim of this book is to consider and set out a theological basis for Christian ethics in today's world. Throughout, Colwell uses contemporary dilemmas as illustrations, and interacts with the thought of Thomas Aquinas, Karl Barth, Stanley Hauerwas and Jonathan Edwards to further illuminate the discussion.
