Douglas MacMillan did not believe in God... but then all the world's beauty and order couldn't have come from nothing!
When he heard the words, "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life" he thought, "'It can't be as simple as that?"
When a friend held out two hands and said, "In this hand, I'll give you everything you are afraid of losing; and in this hand I'll give you Christ," Douglas realised that it was as simple as that after all.
"If I can really have Christ as my Saviour, I'll take him," Douglas said. And as soon as he had said that, his heart was filled with joy and love.
