Half a century before the publication of The Chronicles of Narnia C S Lewis created another imaginary world. 'Animal-Land', which Lewis had shared with his brother Warnie, soon developed into the chronicles of Boxen, a kingdom populated by warrior mice, frog polititians and exiled chess pieces.
