Fanny Crosby is one of the greatest American hymn writers of all time. Even though there have been a multitude of hymnbooks and recordings of her songs, there were over 2,000 unpublished works in the vault of Wheaton College. Celebrating the centennial of Fanny Crosby's death, a number of those works are now being made available and are featured on this album along with a new recording of Blessed Assurance. Vocal performances on this album are by Ricky Skaggs, the Whites, Emie Haase, All Sons and Daughters, Paul Baloche, Israel Houghton and others.
