This book challenges the widely held view that modern-day Israel has little connection with the covenants, prophecies and promises made by God to the Israelites in ancient times and that these promises have been transferred to or fulfilled in the Church. The author shows that the return of the Jews to their homeland is a fulfillment of those ancient promises but he does not discount the rights of the Palestinian Arabs and urges the case for praying for Israel, the Jewish people, the Palestinians and the Middle East in general.
