In print for 120 years, this unusual autobiography has been abridged by Editor Chris Wright into one volume, lightly modernised and annotated (original titles: "From Death into Life" and "Yet not I"). Famously "born again" during one of his own sermons, Haslam was destined to become one of the foremost evangelists of his day and a contributor to early Keswick Conventions. Starting in Cornwall, then Bath and Norfolk he ended in a key parish in London (with Gladstone and Disraeli in his congregation).
