What is meant by the term community? Frequently people refer to the area where people reside with some associations of social interaction and common ties. But while people may live in so-called communities, they often do not experience much connection. Traditionally, counselling has focused primarily on the individual - overlooking the interaction between the community and the individual. The biblically-based counselling model in this book anchors the individual within the community.
