We're delighted to be partnering with Speaking Volumes, a charity set up to make Christian literature accessible and available in communities across the country.
How does it work?
Speaking Volumes is a scheme that enables you to give great Christian books to a library of your choice at a 50% discount to you. The other 50% is provided a the charitable trust which effectively match-funds your gift.
The only condition is that the books are donated to libraries where people can borrow them, not buy them.
Where can you make a gift?
Quite simply, this can be anywhere that people can borrow a book. This could include:
- Public libraries
- Schools and universities
- Playgroups and nurseries
- Care homes
- Hospitals
- Hospices
- Prisons
What do I need to do?
First of all, decide where you would like to donate your books, and check that they are happy to receive them. Pick up a copy of the Speaking Volumes catalogue in store, or apply for a grant via the Speaking Volumes website. If you would like more information please contact us.
